"The Pro's"
First Place: A custom German Silver belt buckle from Montana Silversmiths
(Valued at over $200) PLUS! 75% of the entry fees.
Second Place: A Gel Saddle Pad from CASHEL (Valued at $150) PLUS! 15% of the entry fees.
Third Place: A really nice bucket full of every day items (Valued at $100) PLUS! 10% of the entry fees.
"The Joe's" (Less experienced riders and horses)
First Place: A really nice bucket full of every day items (Valued at $100) PLUS! 75% of the entry fees.
Second Place: A really nice bucket of every day items (Valued at $50) PLUS! 15% of the entry fees.
Third Place: A nice bucket of every day items (Valued at $25) PLUS! 10% of the entry fees.
First 3 places in both classes will receive a ribbon, a $15 gift certificate from Kentucky Horse Supply and a gift certificate for a free bag of feed at Southern States Farm Stores.
Practice starts at Noon! Every competitor will be granted at least one practice run before 2:00pm. Late entries will not be granted a practice run after 2:00pm.
The course will not be posted on the website. The obstacles will not be posted on the website. Everyone will see the new obstacles Saturday November 5th.
"THE RULES!"
We will have "2" Judges, a time keeper and a field Judge.
Combined scores will determine the winner.
The winner will be the fastest time and the least mistakes, mistakes equal time.
You must complete each obstacle correctly as demonstrated, anything extra or anything less will be considered a mistake.
Some pointers! Do exactly as asked, improvising or showing off will be considered a mistake.
If you cannot complete an obstacle, you must at least attempt the obstacle. Mistakes or uncompleted obstacles will add 5 seconds to your time.
If you choose to pass an obstacle without an attempt, 20 seconds will be added to your time.
We have TONS! of door prizes! You must be a KTRA member to win a door prize!
